Susanna Jose Celebrant – Providing Unique Ceremonies
I am a Canberra based Civil Marriage Celebrant specialising in creating unique wedding ceremonies for clients.
I am thrilled that with Marriage Equality, I can now perform marriages for same sex couples. As a Civil Celebrant I also create naming, commitment and renewal of vows ceremonies.
I decided to become a marriage celebrant after a career in education as a teacher and school principal. I still mentor aspiring teacher leaders and I regularly network with other Canberra celebrants. I am a member of the professional associations Celebrants and Celebrations Network (CCN) and Australian Marriage Celebrants Incorporated.
As well as a huge extended family, my husband and I have a ‘blended family’ of four adult daughters and three lovely grandchildren. I am a regular volunteer dog walker for the RSPCA and frequently take furry friends for ‘outings’ to give them a rest from the kennels.
I play the piano – have lessons and play with a small piano group, love gardening, walking and aqua-aerobics.
I love being a celebrant because I am able to help shape the milestones – weddings, naming ceremonies, anniversaries and special events – in people’s lives. This is where memories are made, relationships are strengthened and joy is created.
Contact me for an obligation free meeting to discuss what you would like on your wedding day day or special occasion. I am happy to work in Canberra, ACT and surrounding NSW.
